LETS courses are all residential and take place in the Central Park Hotel. You will have an individual study-bedroom in this medium-class hotel, which is comfortable and pleasant but not of luxury standard. Breakfast and lunch are taken in the hotel restaurant and are included in the course fee.
The Central Park Hotel is situated in the centre of London, in the lively area of Bayswater. Queensway, with its restaurants and cinema complex, is only five minutes away. Its shopping mall, Whiteley's, provides for your essential shopping needs. The Porchester Swimming Pool and Health Centre are just around the corner. Oxford Street and Harrod's are nearby for those who shop for pleasure. The Central Park Hotel lies within walking distance of all major underground lines in the capital. You will be able to get to all of London's major attractions quickly to make the most of your free time.
The Central Park Hotel certainly lives up to its name. Being just 150 metres from Hyde Park means that student and teacher together can take the afternoon walk that forms part of our Daily Programme. Many of our students go jogging in the park in the early morning or in the evening.
The Heathrow Link from Heathrow Airport to Paddington Station runs every quarter of an hour to take you from the airport to the Central Park Hotel within 45 minutes, including the short journey from the station to the hotel. If you decide to travel to London by train, or if your plane lands at Gatwick or City Airport, you can easily reach the hotel by public transport -- or you might wish to take a cab!
